HOW DOES IT WORK:
To reflect real F1 and for a bit of fun/customization we will have permanent driver numbers for each season (meaning at every new season, the drivers will be able to pick their numbers again).
IMPORTANT:
Admins (LAT) and Driver Champions (any driver who has at least one Drivers' Championship Title in the league) will have and keep their number already guaranteed for the current and all future seasons - they can also change their current number to any of the available/free ones, but that would also make their current number available/free for others to pick.
The number you pick will be yours only (meaning no one else can pick it) until the end of the current season - unless you leave the season and communicate the admins that your number should be set free/available.
You can change your number until before the last version of the mod (with the painted numbers on the cars) is released, and/or until before your first race in the current season.
After you already raced with a specific number (or after the last version of the mod was already released with your number painted on your car) you can NOT change it anymore.
This number will be displayed (painted) on your car if you join the league before the season begins (if you join after that, you must still pick a free/available number from the list below, for all official season records - race results and championship standings).
Even as a Reserve Driver, you must pick a number.
Like real F1 the numbers are from #2 to #99, also #0 (or #00).
#1 is automatically reserved for the champion of the previous season - and the champion can use the #1 OR any other number - but only the champion can use the #1 (meaning if the champion does not pick the #1, still no one else can use the #1).
